Hmm, Aimee, I haven't wired up a mixer in a while and not at all with my Matrox. But shouldn't your speakers be hooked to line out on your mixer? And the tape out back to the computer sounds like some sort of loop to me. But, again, I haven't done this in a while. Matrox's tech support really is helpful. I think they're still in the "we need everybody to love us so we can get a bigger market share," phase. So don't be too concerned your asking them about third party hardware.
