Not sure where you got that I'm running a G4, haven't had a G4 in years. It's a Mac Pro 4 Core machine. About 2 years old. Sorry about that, it's running 64bit. You MUST be running 64 bit for the MC6.
Avid recommends only OS 10.7 but we are running it on 10.6.8 at the moment.
