RE: [Avid-L2] Upgrading Audio Card in Windows based Avid MC.

Hi Mark,

I've got one in my home system and it does a great job. Balanced output and I made up some TRS to XLR cables to feed the KRK Rokits. Sounds great. Basic control panel and i don't do anything fancy with it like S/PDIF or anything but i've had it about 3 years and it's still working great. Works perfectly with my Avid too, no conflicts or anything. HTH,

Cheers,

Andi

Subject: [Avid-L2] Upgrading Audio Card in Windows based Avid MC.

Hey All.

I just finished a project and have been looking into upgrading the old

Creative Labs Audio Card I have in my system. I've been researching and

think I have decided on the M-Audio US41750 182 HiDef Audio Card. Was

wondering if anyone had any particular thoughts on this unit or a

preference for something else. I'm pretty much open to anything.

Thanks
