Couldn't agree more. I've got till the Christmas holidays to lock picture on a feature. And we finished shooting two weeks ago! So that's roughly ten weeks to cut a movie. Ten weeks. In this case it's because the movie is committed for a March 8th theatrical release, so there are no options. It's just get it done. Needless to say, in a situation like this there's creative exploration you simply do not have time to do. You only have time to call upon your essential professionalism and get it done. Sad, really.
