True, high quality and small(ish) filesize. But native export like Same As Source will require that you have an Avid system in the future when you need the file again, even if you just want to compress on a non-editing computer. Or you'd at least be required to install codecs on the computer you'll have then, and as long as Avid supports the file type at that future date. Same with Final Cut in many circumstances.
So you may decide to export as something more generic, like Animation, if this is intended to be a truly generic high quality master. Animation essentially uses no codecs, so the files are absolutely huge, but a) this won't seem so big as drives get bigger and cheaper, and b) it can be read by pretty much any computer and likely will be for another decade or three.
No guarantees, of course. I do master exports as Avid Same As Source, Final Cut QuickTime Movie, and Animation, depending on client preference (= rumors they overheard) and the fact that there is not really a clearly best choice.
