That's pretty cool. But here's what I don't understand, and it's
probably just ignorance on my part: How does this (and other alignment
tools) differ from VocAlign from Synchro Arts, a plug in (and stand-
alone app) that I'm surprised hasn't gotten more notice?

Maybe it's because SA focuses on the Pro Tools/MI world (along with
some ADR) and pretty much ignored NLEs. Or maybe VocAlign has limits
that RubbaDub, etc overcome. Or maybe SA licensed technology to Adobe.
Or maybe Adobe developed this themselves (seems within their
capabilities). Or maybe the big promise is that RubbaDub will be
included with Adobe apps at no extra cost (that's cool by me!). I'm
not a VocAlign expert and most of my friends who use it are music
engineers/producers/remixers. So what do I know? Not much.
Can anyone here enlighten me? What does/will RubbaDub do that VocAlign
doesn't?
