[Avid-L2] Looking for EDL Samples for product development

 

Hi All,

We are working on some export tools for our my company. I was wondering what is the current preferred format for file based EDL import into Avid. XML, old CMX3600, New 16 character CMX3600, ALE, etc.

Any suggestions, and definitely samples for our developers to assist in formatting and needed fields would be appreciated. all can be emailed to erik@mediasilo.com

I appreciate it, I have not been in a post house as an employee in a few years, and this is a new collaboration tool under development.
