So you know how when you've got a few video tracks, and then when you load a clip into the Source monitor and then you patch which track you want to cut it into, but then the Record monitor view switches automatically from wherever it was to the track you're patching to. Yeah, how do you stop that?
For example, I've got a 2.35 mask on V6. But then I go to patch a shot to, say V3, and this makes my track view jump down from V6 to V3. But I don't want this! I want the view to STAY up on V6, because I just want the 2.35 mask to be visible all the time. I don't want to have to continuously be re-clicking the view to go back up there.
Is there a way to do this? To make the view STAY on the uppermost track, without it automatically flying down to whatever track you happened to be working on?
Please say there is.
Thanks,
David
