BVM and PVM use the same panel. Difference between the models is control panel. BVM is external box; PVM contrls are built into the unit. Something like that. But I'm told the panels are the same. Saw a BVM here last week for about 30 minutes.

Yes the OLED panels decay. The BVM has circuitry to compensate, I haven't been able to ascertain if the PVM also does or do we have to calibrate more often.
