No SDI in and out, and the monitor adjustments in the software did not effect the analog outputs. I know you're entirely file-based, so no SDI may not be an issue for you. I did not have an HDMI monitor at the time we were testing it. In the case of it's initial implementation in Media Composer, it also felt very spliced-in and not well integrated- but that was a few versions ago. For our use, the AJA IO Express works as well as a Mojo DX - better, actually, considering it works for both Media Composer and FCP. It also works with the adapter card for the 17" MacPro.

I bought several when the price was just $800 - I see it's now a grand. I felt the difference in price was worth the additional features. In your case- if you're just monitoring - it may work great. With as many seats as you support, why not get one of each and try them both out?
