I think the problem with a name like "Avid Motion Graphics" is that is lacks
uniqueness. It has no clear identification without the Avid brand name on
the front, whereas Avid Media Composer or Media Composer are clearly the
same thing - there's no ambiguity or genericness to the name.

If someone says "What are your on screen graphics done with?" and you reply
"Motion Graphics" then it's likely to end up a bit like this:
