Was that the kind with audio jacks like stereo pairs? I was thinking you meant to swap the stereo pairs. Now I get it you'd take your top row and patch it to the top row of your crossed over patches and then come out the bottom set of patches back to your destination. Very cleaver. I guess the way the 9 pin connections to the audio jack don't make it a simple swap. Bet you could wire up the RS-422 9 pins on the input to the patch bay to work out the pin 2 to 8 and 3 to 7 swap but I like your method better. Of course now that I spent the afternoon tinkering I was able to control one avid from another and capture a sequence maintaining the sequence time code. Pretty fun.
