I have no idea the original workflow on this job.
It got thrown at me to figure out.
Not a great 1st RED job.
I believe I have the original drives and I have REDcine.
I've tried the Monkey Extract workflow from the Avid Streamcast how to video
It could not find the files. That tells me that drive ids of files have been altered.
To their defense the post house got this dumped on them as well.
I was trying REDcine to try to get it to recognize the files with no luck either.
I was hoping somebody had more resources.
So I am leaving it for the assistant to try to deal with it. (I'm an Artistic professional and don't get paid overtime).
They have a DS and software to extract files. Hopefully I can just come in and color the finished Hi-Res sequence.
Which is how the job was originally pitched to me.
Is there any step by step work flow other than that Streamcast from Avid?
