[Avid-L2] Re: Catastrophic & Repeatable Potential Bug

Marianna,

I'm running a fully-qualified HP Z800.
My OS is Windows 7-64bit Professional.
My settings were rebuilt from scratch in 5.5.3.
The project has been dragging on for well over 1 year -- so yes, it vastly predates 5.5.3.

This situation survives relaunching the software -- and rebooting the computer. So, this weekend, I will completely uninstall 5.5.3 and reinstall from scratch (as opposed to loading the patch).

I would like to know if there have been ANY other reports of this type of behavior -- of if I am the first.

Thanks for your involvement.

Low and behold -- when I followed the exact same steps -- the exact same thing happened during the next AutoSave.
