This is my first post in this forum.
I'm located in Sweden and use MC5 on a Z400 workstation with a MXO2 for HD-monitoring.
After browsing the forum and failing to find an answer... Is there a way to monitor multichannel audio output?
What I need to do is to be able to listen to a 5.0 (5.1) surround mix delivered from the sound engineer as a stereo front, stereo side and center channel but no sub.
Can this be achieved with direct out listening, and if so what hardware do You recommend? Does it work via the HDMI on the MXO2, wich supports 8 channel audio? I have looked ath MBox FastTrack Ultra 8x8, but can't find any information on MC5 compatibility?
I appreciate any input on the above and of course any other ideas.
