[Avid-L2] Another "Slash" Alert

Hey...
Just passing along that I've had two more run-ins with slashes in a file or folder name:

1- On an outside folder containing the BPVA folder of XDCAM media someone added the date, using a slash. This made the AMA feature not work (i.e. no bin would be created and the AMA process initiated).

2- Added a project folder to the Shared Avid Projects folder. Again, a date had been added that included a slash. In this case, simply pointing MC to look inside the Shared Avid Projects folder caused an error that required a force quit. The error was: "Exception: DISK_DIR_NOT_FOUND, filename. ???"

Use slashes at your own risk. In other words: "Slash and Burn!" ;)

Anyway . . . I hope that helps someone . . . at some point.

Cheers!
