The way to check would be to drag the file with its original name to your
desktop and try to import from there. If it works then it's a pathname
problem.

I didn't see the file path only the name of the still. Do you think the
combination of the entire file pathname which includes the stills name might
be the culprit. Like I said I didn't remove any illegal characters just 8
to 10 letters.
