My understanding is the trial won't open bins that were made using a trial version after 30 days, unless those bins have been opened in a licensed version. Unless I misunderstand, it's to preclude someone from abusing the trial by serially re-installing the trial version.
We've bridged license problems a number of times using a trial version, with no ill effects. Still prefer dongles, as well, but whatchagonnado?
John only needs a couple days.
