Never delete a a lck file unless you are 100% sure that no one else has
it open because Avid will attempt to save it upon closing, thus
potential corruption including data deletion.
Attic time.

After quitting both avids and restarting mine the bin was still locked. I deleted the .lck and .log file like I have in the past. Low and behold the sequence bin was gone. The attic was my friend. The AE just told me that I should not delete the .log file because sometimes it deletes the bin. I figured I had just accidently deleted the bin file by mis clicking but from what the AE said he's lost bins when he's deleted the .log file. What is the truth about the .log file deletion and the bin deleting with it even if it's not highlighted? I was under the impression the .lck and .log file can be deleted with no effect to the bin. Am I wrong here?
