Shift still is the toggle, at least in 5.0.x. Because of this, when you
hold CMD-Shift while dragging, it will lock the clip to vertical movement,
but it will also toggle the 4-way at the same time. In 5.5, did they
discontinue the Shift-Drag as a shortcut for the 4-way toggle? I hate
having the 4 frame view turn on/off every time I move a clip up or down, so
I gave up on vertical lock and do the best I can with Snap to Head.

Shift was the old 4-way toggle years ago. In 5.5 on a Mac try Ctrl+Command.
