I have a MC 5.5.2.1 running on an older Mac Pro (2.66GHz Dual-Core Xeon with 6GB of RAM and OS 10.6.6).
Often when the system is just sitting there doing nothing (let's say I leave it there for a while and go get a cup of coffee), when I come back I'll have an Avid error message on the screen that says:
Mac Error -43 (File not found)
If I click on the OK button, usually I can continue working. Occasionally it crashes. But… what's up with that? A Google search has returned no hints. Re-installing the software doesn't seem to help.
I do have a Matrox MXO2mini installed, but the system was doing this before I installed the hardware, so I don't think the Matrox is implicated.
Any ideas out there?
