[Avid-L2] Avid MXF into Premiere Pro CS5 ?

 

Hello,

We have a client who would like to work with our Avid footage in their
Premiere Pro CS5 system. They say that CS5 can import Avid MXF, but I am
skeptical.

If I copy the Avid MediaFiles folders and give them that, is that going
to work? I read things on some forums that I'll need to make AAF files
as well...how does that work if I am providing unedited footage? If they
import sequences from AAF, then what happens to the outtake footage?
