[Avid-L2] 24p Look For 60p Footage

ESPN, ABC and/or FOX editors,

Do any of you have a recipe to simulate 24p in a 720p/59.94 project?

I've been doing some ESPN work, and the words "can you drop a film effect on
that" keeps coming from the back of the room. The intended effect being to
make 60p event footage look less "live", and more like "24p over 60" Varicam
b-roll.

This is easily done in a 30i NTSC (or 1080i/59.94) project; but, in
720p/59.94, the Timewarp "Film With 2:3 Pulldown" option is greyed-out, and
it's associated FluidFilm 2:3 Cadence preset effect is not shown in the
Effects Palette.

My colleague suggests applying a strobe of 2; but, it's not quite the same.

There is a BCC Posterize Time filter; but, it does not seem to be a magic
bullet...so to speak. ;)

Symphony 5.5.2 on Macintosh. No Sapphire installed.

Thanks!

-Jeff
