I'd guess Apple did have some involvement. But I was told by John Abt
(pres of AJA) that he brought in/hired Grant Petty to do the software
for the original SD iO... this was before Grant started BMD...
Whatever happened, Apple clearly had enough involvement to at least
influence if not dictate what AJA did with the boxes... Could have
just been the threat of dropping the marketing benes...
