If clips are 29.97p inside a 59.98i project, motion adapters will be applied (from P to I), even though not necessary.
I think you can easily get rid of them by hitting Remove Effect, or by selecting the sequence in the bin, right-click, choose Refresh, and refresh the motion adapters.
At least, it works that way in PAL with 25p vs 50i.
