[Avid-L2] Re: An NTSC/PAL thing?

 

Simple. DNxHD 220 at 30 frames per second is the same compression level as DNxHD 175 at 24 frames per second or DNxHD 185 at 25 FPS.

That is why they are only available in the specific frame rate of whatever project you are in.

Since you are in 24, the top compression quality is DNxHD 175. Well, actually 175X as the X denotes 10 bit.
