[Avid-L2] Re: Audio Mixdown Q

 

I'm curious what the point of taking two mono tracks of stereo music and mixing them down to another two mono tracks of stereo is? Won't that leave you with exactly what you started with except now they are mixdown tracks with no reference to the source? If you are talking about mixing down a bunch of tracks including stereo music to a stereo mixdown then it makes sense to me.
