[Avid-L2] Multiple vertically stacked blurs with tracking issue Fixed?

It use to be that if you had a blur paint effect with tracking on V2 over a clip and then you added another blur paint effect on V3 the blur shape would not stay where you placed it and would slingshot off a certain offset.  You could guesstimate the offset and place the shape with the offset in mind and hope it would slingshot into the right position.  I've been doing a lot of blurring lately and I've found on SNDX mac Ver. 4.0.5 I can now stack multiple tracked blurs with no ill effect like before.  I do get an occasional problem when I try to reuse the blur on the same shot later in the timeline even when it's the exact same video with no duration change.  Does anybody know if they actually fixed the stacked tracker problem or have I been living on borrowed time?
