Scary for a civic venue, but for a concert? The sponsors have a right to
ask for "no filming" and most people honor it, but all to many don't.
Should I sponsor an event, I would use it if for no other reason than that I
object to scores of "little brothers" with tiny ipod cams as much as one
"big brother" overseeing the whole thing. This saturation of little eyes is
scary stuff, too. If something newsworthy happens at an event, there is
always the old-fashioned option of writing about it. I personally would
like a device like this around my house and in a bubble around my car.

Very scary stuff.

speech implications?

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
