Holy crap. That is some bad news for FCP users.
I thought _maybe_ Apple would continue to support an FCP7 line for a while, maybe even releasing an FCP 8 with updates, fixes and be 64bit to play nice with Lion. Hmmm . . . If I were dependent on FCP for my livelihood, I'd be be angry too.
