I love the stereo tracks. The enable me to work with only 15 audio tracks (13 mono, 2 stereo). If they are causing trouble with the audiosuite effects then why not drag & drop the master clip onto the audiosuite window and just render out a new master clip? I know this doesn't work in all situations but is a good fix for sound effects.
