I've been using the Matrox MXO2 MINI and am very satisfied with it. The "blue only" function is very handy and with HDMI I get a decent picture out of a good consumer grade monitor. I wouldn't use tis setup for color grading, but I do mostly offline anyway. I would definitely recommend the Matrox.

Those are the only 3rd-party hardware boxes right now. In theory, you should be able to add another graphics card, but it can be funky and I don't believe is officially supported. We had a Resolve (which uses two graphics cards) sharing a CPU with an Adrenaline, and the Adrenaline worked, but didn't like the second graphics card- especially during capture. Moving resolve to its own CPU- we went to Nitris DX and there certainly aren't enough slots for both.

I'm not too concerned with deck outs, etc. I've seen some older setups where people used a second video card. This seems like the frugal way to go.
