I also had this problem with the XF305 footage whilst viewing under AMA. This is on a classic Symphony system running version 5.03. Also, when I use the timecode plugin to display source timecode, that doesn't work either. As you say, it displays in the V1 window above the source monitor, but it doesn't seem to behave as it should with other functions. This made we worry that re-linking might not work properly, so as soon as I'd made the rough cut under AMA I transcoded the sequence to a DNX resolution.
