[Avid-L2] Re: Avid Media Composer 5 & JVC-style XDcam EX files (GY-HM700U)

While Sony's XDCAM EX files are supported, there is no mention of JVC on the AMA page:

http://www.avid.com/US/products/Avid-Media-Access/plug-ins

Is there any way to get a test file ahead of time?

(Obviously not a selling point for me!) Otherwise it can record XDcam EX-style 422 MPEG Long GOPs, in .MP4 wrappers. Good for me - I've had a lot of success with Sony camera original XDcam EX workflow.
