That is part of the problem John. Combine it with what do the half of the population with below average intelligence (by definition) do for a living when we have no manufacturing type jobs left? There are only so many McDonalds type jobs available. I fear the standard of living is going to have to come down to match the rest of the world where those jobs are currently being done. :-(
PS: This is veering very OT but is still in the area of economics that affect us all. If any want it stopped, just ay so. PLEASE don't let this go political, that isn't the issue at hand.
