[Avid-L2] NanoFlash n Avid Major Issues

Hi All,

If there is anyone out there using this with the Avid where the footage was shot MXF please contact me off list. My client has had nothing but problems trying to get the stuff into the system. They are now telling me that when the footage is brought in natively and transcoded to DNXHD 145 it's "soft" when compared to the backup DVCPRO HD tapes. They have spent weeks trying to resolve getting the footage in correctly and I am going to make a house call to figure out what the problem is. They've even contacted the Convergent Design and they have kinda of blown off the Avid workflow saying that .mov's are better. I wish I knew this prior to the shoot. My previous experience with this device was always with FCP where we used .mov's and I've never had a problem with it. I decided it would be easier to shoot MXF in this case because the files should go into Avid natively without issues. Boy was I wrong.
