That's what's driving me crazy is that I haven't entered any TC. It will automatically throw in the TC when I hit record. When it shows the error it empty's the field.

In the message you cited in your first post, it said you were trying to do an "in to out capture." Do you have your in and out marks cleared in the Capture tool? Obviously, if you accidentally set an in and an out point or either one of those, the computer is looking to start capturing at a specific timecode. Double check that you don't have marks set for the capture. That could be the issue.
