Yes, I know. I'm simply pointing out that zero development for 18-24 months would not be a good thing. Incremental improvements will extend the life of the product, but those would equally benefit both MC and Symphony. If they can maintain that pace - and get to 64-bit - then good.
So again, why Symphony? I'm in the camp that says the product software should be the same and Avid's hardware should differentiate MC versus Symphony.
