[Avid-L2] Error Message Insight?

Crosspost to ACI-L and Avid-L2:

Hi Gang,

Anyone have some insight into this error message?
Here's what's been related to me:

While transcoding footage from GF pack, get this message:
"Get finished frame decompression error In clip error codec cmerror_codec"

A quick Google suggests corrupt clips.
Can they possibly transcode using MetaFuze instead?
