Re: [Avid-L2] Re: Looks like the FCP wait is over

The Supermeet probably doesn't need to change their agenda to
accommodate Apple. I've never been to an NAB Supermeet, but I've been
to a couple in San Francisco. The usual agenda is tabletop expo, then
big meeting, then a 30min or so break, then the second-half of the big
meeting.

The second half of the agenda/meeting hasn't been announced yet. So
Avid, Canon, BMD, etc still have their opening act slots before the
headliner hits the stage:

I don't think Apple cares if a new version of FCP isn't on the NAB
show floor Monday or Tuesday... or even on Weds and Thurs. Perhaps
they'll just lets BMD, AJA, and other key developers show FCP in their
booths (or they could sublet the huge BMD booth at the front of the
South Hall). Or not. If they do show the next version of FCP on
Tuesday night, we'll all be talking about about it anyway.

Just like Apple said about Macworld expo, way more people visit Apple
stores each week than will be at NAB next week. Apple will just hold
special FCP workshops at their 300+ Apple stores during the rest of
April and May.
