Re: [Avid-L2] How to select all offline clips in a project

Is it feasible for you (depending on the size of your project and number of bins) to copy all of the files into a Master Bin?

If you can do that, then you can simply use a "Custom Sift" looking for offline media, OR select the column that has "offline" in it and sort so that all of the off-line clips are together, then you can shift-select all of them at once.

Normally, if I want to make a Master Bin, I want ON-LINE clips, so I use the Media Tool to collect them without having to drag them from individual bins, but for off-line clips, I think you're stuck with separate bins.

Unless the Media Tool can be set to look for JUST clips. Then you could drag from there, but I think Media Tool only deals with on-line stuff...can't quite remember.
