Going to hijack the thread.
A while ago there was a question from someone to create something that could
index mediafiles (filename, location and timecode/reelname (if any)),
and optionally (partial) copy them based on an EDL / XML / ALE / Log list.
I've investigated in that and i can do so for QT, MXF (sony/ikegami/canon),
Avid MXF, DPX, Red, Avi and MpegII.
(I've actually made a prototype)
But, the original guy asking for it never mailed back, so the question is
now, is there any of you needing this?
