Re: [Avid-L2] FCPX

Perhaps wishful thinking, but I'd love to see FCP running with an iPad as an optional control surface where your timeline or parts of it show up on a connected iPad, and allow multitouch control/navigation.

With Randy Unbillos (project manager etc for iMovie for iPad) supposedly taking part in the development of FCP it seems like it wouldn't be a huge stretch.
Multitouch actually seems like a powerful UI for timeline navigation etc.

And this is exactly the type of eye candy that Apple loves.

the only thing is that I think latency over wifi would be annoyingly high, and connection via USB seems... well, messy.
Hmm.

Anyway, it's a thought.
