With more hardware applications pushing the volume demand they can't help but come down in price - although there still seems to be quite a gap in performance and performance-over-time between SSD manufacturers, so I'm sure there will be qualifications (much like the current CF Ultra and HCSD) and of course there will be a price premium for "the good stuff."
But it's some damned exciting stuff on the very near horizon.
