[Avid-L2] Z7u Workflow issues

 

Hi all,

I have a client who's working with MC 5.5 and is dealing with the Sony Z7U HDV tapless material. She tried AMA and it does not work properly especially if there are spanned clips. I'm trying to help figure out the best way to get this material into the system.

So far my workflow has been to import into FCP and now convert the material via MPEG Streamclip to DNxHD. There has got to be a more efficient way correct?
