I now had my first opportunity to use AutomaticDuck to sucessfully convert a project from FinalCut to MediaComposer.
The timeline transferred nicely and all the video media was in place. But no audio.
It took me some time to figure out that only the videofiles goes into the MXF/1 subfolder whereas all audio should go into the OMFI Mediafiles folder.
Maybe AutomaticDuck could create these subfolders within the target folder used for export out of FinalCut? That would make it more obvious where to put which files on the Avid side.
Otherwise: a fantastic tool that really saved me on this job.
