Its a win win move and who doesn't like that? Regardless of how jaw-dropping the new FCP turns out to be, it's still plain good sense for any and every (working) professional FCP editor to be conversant with Avid Media Composer and have that in their arsenal too ... Avid knows that and will bank a pile of cash from this offer, whether or not they bank users too.
