[Avid-L2] Mixing MX02 and Aja Io Express on same system

 

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to mix an MX02 and an AJA Io express on the same system? I have a client who is not happy with the video output of their project. They are working in 23.98 and won't spring for a "real" monitor. They are using a cheap LCD monitor. The Io Box can not cross convert the HD signal so they are stuck looking at a cruddy SD downconvert / crossconvert from the box via HDMI.

They told me they took the project home plugged it into another system with a matrox box and it looked great. They need the Io for loading so they need to keep the box unless they go for a Mojo DX. So is it possible to add the Matrox into the mix or will there be conflicts are there any other suggestions?
