But why thunderbolt to use it as an interactive display? I thought you
could already do that wirelessly, or with the existing connector into
a USB port? (see Tangent Wave vWave-Lite app)

And if you're going to daisy-chain it between a 4K camera and your
storage, apart from the fact it would then need two thunderbolt
connections, it would also need the iPad to be able to support your 4K
data stream, or it becomes a bottleneck. Or am I missing something?

By the way, I'm totally excited about thunderbolt. I'm just not sure
that the iPad is an applicable host.
