[Avid-L2] MC5 & DVCPro HD sync pb problems

 

I've done a variety of HD jobs on a MC5 (5.0.1) running off a
year-old MacBook Pro with a Firewire 800 drive in the last 6 months
with out a wrinkle. But I just took delivery of a drive with
Quicktimes captured from DVCPro HD tapes ingested as DVCPro HD
Quicktimes. In both the Quicktime Player and thru the Avid (Qt linked
via AMA to same Quicktime) it's pretty out of sync. Since we're one
foot into the weekend here I'm posting this question hastily before
running a battery of tests. I've been assured by the facility that
did the capture that the Qt's are in sync as they play them back off
a video raid on-site.

I can think of all kinds of things to try next but thought I see if
there's an wisdom out there on the subject. The DVCPro HD is
1080i/60 LPCM audio, bit depth 16.
